Safe Recovery Support and Education Program
Safe Recovery services seek to reduce the incidence of drug-related harm in Vermont among people who have used or are using heroin or other opiates or who have injected any drug. Such harm includes HIV transmission, Hepatitis C transmission, and drug overdose. We accomplish this by supporting people as they seek to make healthier choices and create for themselves an opportunity for sustainable recovery. Services include case management, access to safer injection supplies and safe disposal of used supplies, drug treatment options, and counseling and support groups. We also offer free, confidential Hepatitis C testing, as well as free, Ora-Sure™ testing (HIV). Safe Recovery is located at 28 Pine Street, Burlington. For more information, please call 802.488.6067.
