Northern Lights Program

Northern Lights Program is a supportive home for women returning from prison. This downtown Burlington residence houses ten women for up to one year. Residents are under the supervision of the Department of Corrections. The goal is for each woman to build a safe, healthy, and productive life in the community.

Northern Lights is a collaborative program that includes Vermont Works for Women, Mercy Connections Inc., Vermont Children’s Aid Society, and Burlington Housing Authority. For more information, please call 802.862.4386.
