The Chittenden Clinic

The Chittenden Clinic provides methadone maintenance therapy for those individuals with opioid dependence. The program provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment for our patients. The clinic offers wrap-around services that include methadone maintenance therapy, individual and group counseling, case management, medical consultation, and community referrals as needed. Staff include substance abuse clinicians, physician and nursing staff, administrative staff, and interventionists who work together to obtain the highest standard of care for our patients in the clinic. This HowardCenter program is operated in alliance with Fletcher Allen Health Care and the University of Vermont, College of Medicine. The Chittenden Clinic is located at the University Health Center, 1 South Prospect Street, Room 1420, Burlington, VT 05401. Clinic hours are 6:30-2:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and 7:30-10:00 a.m. (Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays). For more information, please call 802.488.6450 or 802.656.3700.
