Developmental Disability Support: Intake, Assessment and Referrals
Any person who believes he or she has a developmental disability or is the family member or guardian of such person may apply for services, supports, or benefits.

Community Participation Program
Community Access Program
The Community Access Program supports the individual and family in locating and accessing educational, recreational, and social resources in the community.
Family Support
Family Support offers a variety of services to the individual and family including case management, respite, and shared parenting supports.
Flexible Family Funding
The Flexible Family Funding Program provides limited funding to assist families with respite and other supports relevant to caring for their child and family.
Onion River
The Onion River Day Program provides community support for adults.
Outdoor Adventure Program
The Outdoor Adventure Program is an inclusive camp experience for individuals ages 7-21 with developmental delays.
Resource Center
The Resource Center provides additional opportunities in the community for clients receiving services through Developmental Services to gain new skills and enhance existing skills.
Specialized Community Support
Individuals needing additional specialized support during the day receive individualized services based on their needs and interest.
Teen Group
Creative Minds is a teen support group that fosters peer relationships, social skills, and self-advocacy for individuals ages 14-22.

Residential and Housing Supports
Adolescent Group Living
Adolescent Group Living arrangements may range from highly supportive environments to more independent living arrangements for adolescents with development disabilities.
Adult Group Living
Adult Group Living arrangements may range from highly supportive environments to independent living arrangements for adults with developmental disabilities.
Safety Connection
Safety Connection is a system using that uses home security technology and professional staff to support individuals who need occasional overnight assistance to live more independently.
Shared Living Program
The Shared Living Program is a residential program that allows adults with development disabilities to live with a person or people in a roommate situation to ensure that their needs are being met.
Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living provides housing arrangements for adults with developmental disabilities that allows these individuals to live independently while receiving the support they need to do so.

Clinical Services
Clinical Services
These include psychiatric, nursing, and clinical direction to provide evaluation, medication checks, and after-hours consultation on medication issues, as well as consultation, training, supervision of urgent response services, and oversight and risk management to teams, individuals, and families.

Self-Advocacy Program
Burlington Self-Advocacy Club (BSAC)
BSAC is a self-advocacy group established and operated by individuals served by HowardCenter Developmental Services who have developmental disabilities.
