Centerpoint
Centerpoint provides a full array of substance abuse and mental health services for teens and their families. Services begin with comprehensive assessment and evaluation and may include outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient treatment, and family therapy as well as case management and community support. Services are provided within our clinic sites and at a variety of community locations including schools, residential programs, and juvenile justice settings. Outpatient Program
The Outpatient Program provides individual, family, couples, group, and play therapy. We serve children, adolescents, families, parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Services are provided at our 1138 Pine Street site, in many Chittenden County schools, and at the Milton Family and Community Center. The outpatient providers are Master’s level clinicians with over two-thirds of staff possessing Vermont professional licensure. The STAR Groups
The STAR Groups (Sexual Trauma and Recovery) are specialty services for children ages 5-12 years and their caregivers. These children must be identified as sexually reactive, meaning they may have been sexually abused or exposed to sexually explicit information. Clinicians who provide these services possess expertise in trauma-informed practice. The group runs for six months with scheduled breaks built into the schedule. Psychosexual Assessment and Evaluation
Psychosexual evaluations are provided for youth ages 9 years and up who are displaying some sexual behavior problems with or without disclosure of any specific abuse.
