Cookies

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to your browser — along with a web page — when you access a website. There are two kinds of cookies. A session cookie is a line of text that is stored temporarily in your computer's memory. Because a session cookie is never written to a drive, it is destroyed as soon as you close your browser. A persistent cookie is a more permanent line of text that gets saved by your browser to a file on your hard drive.

HowardCenter does not use any cookies.

We want to be very clear: We will not obtain personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information.

Changes To This Notice

We reserve the right to change this notice. We reserve the right to make the revised or changed notice effective for health information we already have about you as well as any information we receive in the future. We will post a copy of the current notice in all agency facilities. The notice will contain on each page, in the top right-hand corner, the effective date. In addition, should we make a material change to this notice, we will, prior to the change taking effect, publish an announcement of the change at every agency facility, on its web site and in the local paper.
