Welcome to Howard Center Developmental Services
We offer a full range of support services to children, adults, and families in Chittenden County with a developmental disability. Our programs help individuals become involved in their community, build social connections, maintain employment, and live as independently as possible. We believe that communities are enriched, too, when individuals are given opportunities for inclusion, independence, and self-determination.
How do I know if I need help?
People call us for many reasons. They may be looking for services for their child who is on the autism spectrum, or they may want information about housing supports for a young adult with a developmental disability who wants to live more independently. They may be calling about our supported employment program that helps individuals find meaningful employment.
Whatever your reason for calling, we will help you and your family members get the services and support you need. In addition, we’ll help you make decisions about how you want to manage any services you receive.
