This team provides a range of outreach and support services for persons in and around the downtown Burlington business district.
Students FIRST
(Fully Integrated Resources for Schools/Mental Health Teaming)
HowardCenter, South Burlington School District (applicant), Vermont Department for Children and Families along with a consortium composed of all Chittenden County School Districts and key community stakeholders are participating in an 18-month program to integrate schools and mental health systems. Vermont Guard and Military Services provides counseling and support to veterans who are facing deployment or who have returned from active duty, and their families.
